(e) - proof of concept

'e' (as in Euler's Number) is a game i started making in pico-8 but quickly realized it's almost impossible to make it work on this "engine", so i'm moving it to love2d. this is as far as i could go.

i wanted to make a visual/audio cue so that the player knows when to hit the button, but with only 4 audio channels, it would easily become an auditory mess. so this is just an early idea of what's to come. this song is a demake/simplification of a song i composed for the game.

try to hit the buttons 1 beat after the melody or according to it.
